This rare recording of a Ubik gig at the Luton Youth House in 1991 was made on a portable cassette recorder from the mixing desk output.

This was our standard live set at the time. It was a hell of tracklist! They all made it to vinyl. Some of the tunes were released under other band names: Hi-Ryze...Autonation...it all started with Ubik :)

UBiK was first formed in 1989 by Dave Campbell and Viv Beeton, releasing ground breaking techno tunes on Camden Town’s Zoom Records.
They went on producing music as Timenet, and Autonation on R&S. They appeared as a live act playing raves across the UK (1989 to 1993).
